April

I wasn't fooled today. The sky tried to fool me, but didn't do a very good job of it. The sun hid and then revealed itself repeatedly until the game became tiresome. The day never warmed, and the next several days probably won't warm either. The lingering chill does have the advantage of delaying the onset of pollen season. Instead of sneezing from allergens I'm sneezing from the dust I continue to stir up indoors as the project of cleaning continues.

I'm thinking of removing all the face plates of the light switches and electrical outlets and soaking them then scrubbing them. My guess is they haven't had a good cleaning since the house was built. That would be a dust-free project. The kitchen cupboard hardware could probably use a good cleaning too. Bit by bit the de-stying gets done. I might finish sometime around August.

The frogs have grown quiet. It's probably too cold for them tonight. It's too cold for me as well. I'm going to go bundle up in front of the television with a cat.
