This afternoon the white day-ghost of the moon floated like an isolated, gibbous cloud in the pale blue autumn sky. The actual clouds pillowed themselves against the mountains. The sight of them made me want a nap, but it was too cold to nap in the chaise. I didn't have the time anyway. I still don't. Now to catch up on the laundry.
