Later

Sleep disruptions again. This led to my waking near four o'clock in the afternoon, instead of my more usual one thirty or two. At least when I wake so late on a summer day the night does not collapse onto my head almost immediately as it does in the dead of winter. There was some afternoon, however truncated, and plenty of sunlight in which to enjoy the mild air and cloudless sky. The feral cats seemed a bit anxious about the belated arrival of their meal, though. They rushed the porch as soon as I returned indoors after filling their bowls. Funny kitties.

Time (but just barely) to watch the moon for a little while.
