Send Ice

This evening, all three of the kittens remained on the near side of the mid-yard fence when I went out and sat on the back porch. Getting braver. The bravest kitten had already dropped by alone this afternoon to eat something before his mom and the other kittens got to the food. That's the one most likely to get into trouble. Mom cat is also beginning to get annoyed when the kittens play with her tail. It probably won't be long before she starts shooing them away whenever they get close to her. She might even try running them out of the yard. That's going to be interesting. A bit sad, but interesting.

After hovering in the high nineties for several days, the local temperature is expected to break 100 again Monday and Tuesday. Have I mentioned that I can't wait for summer to be over?

The latest additions to the LOC photostream at Flickr are Photocrom prints of Wales at the turn of the century (the last one, not this one.) Totally worth a look.
