This afternoon there was almost rain again, and then the sun came out. I guess it will stay this way for the next few days. April the tease. The first golden poppy has bloomed, but there seem to be fewer plants budding than there were last year. More rain would bring more buds, but I don't think we'll be getting anything significant now. Lots of big clouds float by but drop nothing. They're nice to watch, but disappointing. And despite the recent cooling, some plant is releasing more pollen and making me sneeze and ache. And feel dopey. I'm going to take revenge on the vegetable kingdom by devouring a bunch of popcorn. Take that, plants!
