A while ago, while the wind was at its strongest, I heard a crash out back. I think the broken part of the fence came down again. My flashlight couldn't penetrate the rainy dark and windblown fog, and I wasn't about to go far enough out to see what had fallen. If there's a lull in the rain I'll go out to check. The odd thing is that when the crash came, I was on the back porch with the white faced cat, and he just kept on eating. For a feral cat he's awfully calm.
