Afternoon brought clouds and cooler air. The squirrels continued to frolic in their arboreal playground, and the gray cat continued to nap at a corner of my back yard. I thought there might be a bit of rain, but the clouds were stingy. It's supposed to be partly cloudy through the week, though there's no rain predicted until Friday at the earliest, and then only a 20% chance. Although it will get the cat wet I'm still looking forward to the rain, and hope we get a good soaking. It's going to smell so good when those leaves start to rot from the damp.
