Mild

We're getting a few partly cloudy days in a row, but the temperatures remain mild for the season. This evening was as pleasant as any we've had in any October I can remember. The gray cat and I sat in the back yard and watched the dusk arrive. The gray cat also watched me. He wants to be ready in case I make any sudden moves. Scaredy cat.

The rain gutters are freshly cleaned, just in case there's another fire (fire season lasts a long time here some years), and the lawns have gotten their first full raking of the autumn. My footsteps won't crunch leaves for a day or two now, unless there is wind to bring down another big batch of them. I don't expect any wind. It's probably going to be warm days, cool nights, and soft breezes for another week at least. It's definitely time for outdoor living. See you later, Internets.
