Four jasmine blossoms made it all the way to October. They have barely any scent remaining. The yard smells more like dead leaves every day, especially when the flower beds have been watered. Ah, the season of decay!
And today was the 100th anniversary of the first Ford Model T built for sale. It had a hand-crank starter— sort of like the automotive version of Sluggo.
I heard geese fly over the house this evening, but wasn't quick enough getting out to see them. They're coming south awfully early this year. What do they know that we don't?
