Another sultry day gives way to another hot, still night. Doldrums. I might as well be living in Kansas. Well, except for the tornadoes.

Cheering me up just a bit: Beagle nursing cats. Not so cheerful is the fact that the picture must be at least fifty years old. Doggy and kitties are long gone.

I wish there was a nice swimming hole around here. I don't swim, but the splashing would be a pleasant sound.
