The rain having failed early today, I spent the afternoon watching the snow barely melt. I think the birds are impatient to be rid of it, too. They sit on the wires or the bare trees and squawk and chirp, now and then flitting down to the ground to peck in the few spots not crusted with snow. The sun remained wan behind gray clouds until near evening when it finally managed to emerge for a while, too late to bring any warmth. The day was a dull as the sky.

Stuff on the Internets, though, claims to be Damn Interesting! Well the Internets is better than nothing I guess.
