Quiet

It's gotten very quiet around here with the house next door vacant again. There's a for sale sign out front, but so far I haven't seen anybody come to look at the place. A couple of cars have cruised by very slowly, but that's it. Winter is coming, too, and fewer people go house hunting in the winter than in other seasons. I'm going to enjoy the quiet. Now if we could get the guy on the other side to move out as well. Him with the leaf blower. The neighborhood could seem quite bucolic again.


As I haven't been able to get a good look at the fat comet, I've had to content myself with this handy photo gallery from SpaceWeather.com. Some very nice shots there.


Oh, TV writers go on strike. I wonder if that means TV gets better or gets worse until they return? Maybe nobody will even be able to tell.
