This morning brought the continuation of last evening's peculiarly vernal weather. By dawn, the clouds had piled against the mountains and I could hear the rumble of thunder. There were a few sprinkles here, but only enough to dampen the leaves and make the pavement shiny for the rising sun. The day was mostly overcast, and there were more sprinkles late in the afternoon. The air is electric, but I've seen no lightning. Now and then thunder still rolls from the mountains. I hope it doesn't start any fires.
