Sucks

The thing about the sunsets here lately is that those colors have no heat in them. They are Popsicle colors, and then somebody sucks the juice out of the horizon and leaves only pale ice that fades to dusk. Today there were a few thin clouds hanging about, which was a nice (though entirely aesthetic, since they bring no rain) change from the pale vacancy of recent days. By night there won't even be much aesthetic change, as the moon is new and any clouds lingering will be discernible only through their ability to obscure the stars. The chill continues. I am not finding it invigorating. In fact, the newfound tendency of my joints to protest the cold is keeping me indoors where the warm but furnace-tainted air acts as a soporific. I'll be lucky to remain alert long enough to finish this paragra
