Rain came earlier than I expected and so there was no display of moon-drenched clouds, but only a drenching. The gray light of early morning now reveals that the clouds have settled on the ridge as a wet fog. The rain has become a steady drizzle. I hope its restful sound can put me to sleep now, as it did earlier, but the unintentional nap it then induced may have taken the edge off. I don't want to still be poking about on teh Internets hours from now.
